He was predeceased by : his father Clyde Caldwell; his brother Christopher Caldwell; his half-brother Thomas Caldwell; and his grandmother Ruby Caldwell. He is survived by : his mother Bertha; his brothers, Michael Caldwell, Shaddrin Lofty, Chad Lofty of Whitwell, Clyde Caldwell Jr. of Monteagle and Timothy Caldwell of Jasper; his uncle Randy Dorsey; and his aunt Shirley Schmook. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
