He is survived by : his children, JD Young (Cindy) of Whitwell, Tina Short of Hixson and Roger Young (Melody) of Whitwell; his grandchildren, Nikki Turner (Ryan), Kayla Harmon (Cody), Emily Tate (Tyler), Jeremy Harwood, Christy Short, Jacob Godfrey, Rachael Young and Cy Young (Mattie); and his great grandchildren, Gray Turner, Benjamin Turner, Savannah Rae Harmon, Kierston Gaddis, Aceson Gaddis, Hukson Whited, Della Rae Ann Mikel, Kambria Harwood, Lowery Harwood and Lennox Harwood.
