He was predeceased by: his father Dale Dean Crippen; and his brothers, Craig Crippen, Gary Crippen, Kim Crippen and Steve Crippen.

He is survived by: his mother Betty Jean Erdle Crippen; his wife Tina Rumsey Crippen; his sister Khristi Hale (Chris); and his parents-in-law, Betty Rumsey Hogwood and Mikey Hogwood. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
