We announce the death of Sharon Holloway Lofty of Whitwell, Tennessee, who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 70. Sharon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Holloway and Odell Holloway; and her father-in-law Tunnie Lofty. She is survived by: her husband James Lofty of Whitwell; her children, Bryan Lofty (Angie) of Whitwell and Ashley Bagby (Dale) of Winchester, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Caleb Lofty (Katie), Maddie Lofty, Hallie Kate Bagby and Emery Bagby; her great grandchildren, McKinlee, Blaine, Miley and Bodie; and her siblings, Norma Harrison and Allen Holloway (Becky). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Reed Funeral Home (11675 TN-28, Whitwell, TN 37397). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM and at 3:00 PM.
