He is survived by: his wife Jennie Ables; his children, Jacob Ables (Bianca) of Wake Forest, Zachary Ables of Chattanooga, Riley Martin (Jake) of South Pittsburg and Gavin Kilgore (Amber) of Whitwell; his sister Mary Ables; his grandchildren, Sofia Ables, Kayson Kilgore and Addy Martin; his former wife Dede Ables; his niece Halle Caldwell; and his nephews, Joshua Caldwell and Matthew Ables Bryant. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. (795 Morrison Springs Rd, Whitwell, TN 37397). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
