He was predeceased by: his father Walter Herron Rushing. He is survived by: his mother Christine Ramey Rushing; his daughters, Christine Bartlett of Luray, TN and Rachel Overton of Jackson, TN; and his granddaughters, Danielle Cowden (Tyler), Morgan Horton (Forrest), Ella Lewis and Hannah Tilson (Zach). He is also survived by two great grandsons and four great granddaughters.
