With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christine Vanderpool of Williamsport, Tennessee, who passed away on July 17, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Hughes and Ethel Ousley Hughes; her husband Everett Vanderpool; her son Everett "Douglas" Vanderpool; her great grandchild Tristan Damron; and her siblings, Curt Hughes, Melvin Hughes, Chilli Hughes, Sylvia Hughes, Daniel Hughes, Orgie Adkins, Orville Adkins, Tramble Adkins, Georgie Adkins and Mildred Ballamy.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Damron (Les) of Williamsport, TN, Larry Vanderpool of Homer, MI and Gary Vanderpool of Williamsport, TN; her adoptive son Mike Slone (Janelle); her brother Ezra Adkins; her daughter-in-law Teresa Banks; and her grandchildren, Scott, Christy, Michael, Shawn, Jenna, Josh, Jacob, Brittani, Taylor and Christian. She is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren.
