He was predeceased by: his mother Coulia Houston Culver; and his siblings, Mattie Lou, Rubye, Joyce, Marion, Ollie, Ola, Alta, Mary, Carolyn, Leonard, Earl, Youl, Leslie and Lawrence.
He is survived by: his father Lewis Montgomery Culver; his wife Beverly Lansdell Culver; his daughter Darlene Culver Rike (James McBryde Rike); and his grandchildren, Jessica Rike Price (Maylon), Jack Rike (Kristina) and Elliot Rike (Abigail). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
