He was predeceased by: his father Robert Alton; and his wife Lisa Matney Tipps. He is survived by: his children, Jeni Hardy (Jim) of Estill Springs and Ricky Tipps of Winchester; his grandchildren, Jordyn, Veronica, Holly, Izzy (Cody), David Charles, Mackenzie, Zachary, Olivia and Lucas; his great grandchildren, Riley, Riayn, Destin and Anne; and his siblings, Sandra Shivers (Don), Brenda Terry (Jim) and Winston Tipps (LeAnn). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, foster children.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Rain Teen Center or Camp Rain.
