She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Hill and Clay Vinnie Hill; her husband Melvin Howard; and her siblings, Viola Hill, Archie Hill, J. C. Hill, Roy Glenn Hill Sr., Morgan Hill, Roger Woods and J. D. Woods.
She is survived by: her daughters, Eyunethia Owens and Jessie Marie Owens; her granddaughter Eyunikue Owens; her stepgranddaughter Chasity Marie Smith; her great grandchild Christian Smith; her siblings, Hazel Patrick (Kenneth), Devonia Smith, Betty Ann Rogers (Thomas), Beatrice Taylor (Thomas), Charles Ed Hill (Irene) and Chaney Hill; and her niece Chinetha Hendon. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
