He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Spencer, Jr. and Betty June Spencer (Smith); and his brothers, Robert "Bobby" Spencer, III and Benny Spencer. He is survived by: his wife Joy Spencer; his sons, Bruce Spencer, Jr. (Alicia) and Blake Spencer (Abby); his grandchildren, Wyatt, Keely, Indy, Finn, Daisy and Lulu; his brother Brent Spencer (Angie); his siblings-in-law, Karen Spencer and Ken Cowan (Allison); his nieces, Rose Cowan, Casey Merrill (Ben) and Lindsey Brower (Macy); and his nephew Lee Spencer (Leah).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Winchester Cumberland Presbyterian Church (200 2nd Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398).
