He is survived by: his sons, Jason Johnson (April) of Hillsboro, MO and Troy Johnson of Shelbyville; his grandchildren, Renee Johnson, James Freeman II and Anna Lee; and his sister Sally Aldridge of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
