She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Helen Rains and Ellis Rains; her children, Nathan Lance Stephens and Stephanie Hill (Stephens); her granddaughter Mackenzie Hill; her sister Pam Creswell; her brother-in-law Mike Creswell; her daughter-in-law Carol Ann Stephens; and her nephew Michael Shawn Winton.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, The Wounded Warrior Foundation or 2nd Harvest Food Bank.
