George Myers Clay Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on August 28, 2025, at the age of 88, George Myers Clay (Winchester, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Emmett and Georgia Lee Clay (Myers); his siblings, Frank Emmett Clay and Linda Jo Johnson (Clay); and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Johnson and Clifton Medley.
He is survived by: his wife Edwene Clay (McFarland); his sons, George Edward (Tammy), Barry Keith (Barbara) and Eric Kent (Carla); his sisters, Drucilla Medley and Peggy Darden (Glenn); his sisters-in-law, Diane Richards and Sherry Clay; and his grandchildren, J. R. Clay (Rachel) and Erica Edwards (Lucas).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Gideons International.
