She is survived by : her mother Violet Sharpless; her husband Kenneth Gipson; her children, Oliver Alicea (Mary), Constance Mayes, Kenneth D. Gipson and Yvonne Kirkland (Mike); her grandchildren, Sammy Ortiz (Wendy), Gisela Smith (Carry), Janet Underwood (Jonathan), Devon Watts and Shawn Decent-Gipson; her great grandchildren, Celica, Noah, Hayvin, Avalea, Adakyn and Kohen; her great great grandchildren, Opie, Ace and Zeck; and her siblings, Ruth Jackson, Frank Stevick (Marianne) and Johnny Stevick (Marla). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
