It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewell Christine Limbaugh of Winchester, Tennessee, who passed away on August 16, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben McCormick and Barsha McCormick (Walker); her husband Clayton Limbaugh; her son Michael Limbaugh; and her siblings, Junior McCormick, Roy McCormick, James McCormick, Wilburn McCormick, Evelyn Newton, Mary McNeal and Nell Syler.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Hobbs (Bob); her daughter-in-law Tina Limbaugh; her grandchildren, Lacey Ray (Chris), Ashley Fitch (Matthew), Rebekah Hobbs (Kyle Morgan), Alicia Fanning (Chris) and Alison Limbaugh (Cody Bradford); her great grandchildren, Eli Fitch, Addison Fitch, Amelia Fitch, Jentri Fanning, Huck Fanning, Bransyn Limbaugh, Jackson Ray and Carter Ray; her sisters, Jean Hall and Betty Nichols; and her sister-in-law Janet McCormick.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
