He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie David and Mamie Elizabeth Payne (Jackson); and his wife Celia Maxine Payne. He is survived by: his son Darrin Payne; his brothers, Ricky Payne and Jacky Payne (Kaye); his nieces and nephews, Todd Payne, Tiffany Vaughn (Chris), Tara Babb (Justin), Jamie Hall (Brandon) and Kelly Williams (Jordan); and his cousins, Billy Marlow, Teresa Jackson Bennett, Sherry Jackson Cardwell, Lewiskaye Jackson Brown, Gordan Jackson and Tracy Marlow.
