He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zielke and Esther Zielke (Gottschalk); his children, James and Diane; his wife Jean Zielke (Kyser); his stepson Alan Wheeler; and his sister Norma Zielke Hollader.
He is survived by: his brother Charles Zielke; his stepchildren, Douglas Wheeler of Murfreesboro, Mike Wheeler (Susan) of Colorado Springs, Richard Wheller of Springfield and Debra Wheeler Gillespie (David) of Arkansas; his children-in-law, Marie Zielke and Tommy Jackson; his granddaughters, Brittany Zielke, Adrienne Griffin, Nicole Caperhart (Jospeh) and Alexandra Jackson; and his great grandchildren, Collin Griffin, Coy Caperhart, Sara Caperhart, Hiwatha Cox III and Sabre Cox.
