She was predeceased by: her father Chauncey Cowan; her husband William "Bill" Farris; her siblings, Norma Sloan and Tom Cowan; and her sons-in-law, Mark Fleishman and Randy Bain.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Ensminger (Paul), Melanie Bain (Dave Fite), Lori Fleishman and Gretchen Carroll (Ritchie); her grandchildren, Rebecca McCombs (John), Ad'Lynn Martinez (Michael), Clark Ensminger (Heather), Christian Carroll and William Carroll; her great grandchildren, Allison, Emma, Jane, Jack, Bella, Joshua, Benjamin, Zachary, Charlotte, Grace, Max and Fisher; and her siblings, Sandra Syler and Bill Cowan (Sharon). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Goshen Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
