In the sacred silence of farewell, Joseph is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joseph's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Balazs and Marie Balazs; and his sons, Johnathan and Joseph. He is survived by: his daughters, Katie Balazs (Meryl) of Chattanooga, Rachel Daniel (David) of Jonesboro and Ark; and his grandson Noah Kelley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services (103 Peters Rd, Estill Springs, TN 37330). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (2037 Decherd Blvd, Decherd, TN 37324).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made in his memory to the 4th District Fire Dept., 3260 Liberty Road, Winchester, TN 37398 or a local food bank of your choice.
