He was predeceased by : his parents, Virgil Tenpenny and Sammye Tenpenny. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Jennings; his children, Denise (Tommy Stone), Marlene (Jason Cowan) and Lyle (Virginia Tenpenny); his grandchildren, Charles, Elinor, Anabel Stone, Olivia, Alexus, William Cowan and Lola Tenpenny; and his sisters, Jo Ellen (Terry Davenport), Katherine McDowell and Maxine (Bobby Bates). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
