He is survived by: his wife Abbie Anderson Borne; his siblings, Howard, Louie Borne, Ruby Caldwell, Rosie Gibbs, June Gibbs and Willie Mae Layne; his daughter Kathy Jean Cox; his sister Velma Letha Borne; and his children, Peggy Slatton (Carl), Susie Smith (Stacey), Mary Ellen Campbell (Billy), James Borne (Mary) and Michael Borne (Sonya). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
