She was predeceased by: her father Jessie Lee; her husband Victor Steele; her daughter Virgie Mae Southcutt; her granddaughter Allison Steele; and her siblings, Wesley Bradford, Junior Bohannan, Johnnie Bradford, Douglas Bradford, Nancy Jacks, Dorothy Jacks, Helen Steele and Edith Bradford.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Wiseman (Jimmy) of Winchester, Larry Steele (Doris) of Winchester, Monroe Steele (Kelly) of Lynchburg, Connie Steele of Winchester, Marie Steele of Winchester and Ricky Steele of Winchester; and her caregiver Melissa Troutt. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
