We announce the death of Mickey Watkins of Winchester, Tennessee, who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley Watkins and Lillian Watkins (Garrard). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Watkins (Smith); his children, Wendy Schunk (Danny) and Jeff Watkins (Jill); his grandchildren, Blake Schunk (Savanah), Curtis Schunk (Allison), Blake Hicks and Lauren Hicks; and his brother Jerry Watkins (Betty). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Watson Funeral Home (405 Sharp Springs Rd, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
