She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Chauncey and Nettie Aline Cowan (Money); her husband William Syler; and her siblings, Jonell Farris, Norma Sloan, Tom Cowan and Bill Cowan.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Syler (Anita), Joy Martin and Brad Syler (Lynn); her grandchildren, Ericka Olsen (Josh), Jamie Syler, Kayce Syler and Cody Syler; and her great grandchildren, Haley Olsen, Heidi Olsen, Hopie Olsen, Harper Olsen, Avacyn Syler and Jean McCoy Brasher. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home (300 1st Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
