With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Theresa Joy Compton of Winchester, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Theresa Joy left this world on May 15, 2025 at the age of 67, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dillon Patterson and Geneva Patterson (Oliver). She is survived by: her husband Dr. Jerry Compton; her brother Eddie Patterson (Susan); her stepdaughters, Marchelle C. Butler (Billy) and Valerie Yambor (Paul); her stepgrandchildren, Rachel Dorneanu (Andrei), Saralyn, Shawn and Bryan Yambor; and her grandchildren, Theo and Emma Dorneanu. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
A reception will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
There will be 2 Celebrations of Life Events: Sunday June 29th at 461 Choctaw Rd, Winchester TN 37398 from 1 pm to 3 pm,***************And Saturday July 12th at 3781 Sanford Rd, Murfreesboro TN 37130 from 3 pm to 5 pm,**************In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Wags and Wiggles Dog Rescue of Winchester- 931-247-1699.
