He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Trammell and Nola Trammell; his mother-in-law Josephine Chambers; and his brothers-in-law, James Stephens, Glen Stephens and Shane Stephens.

He is survived by: his wife Shonda Stephens Trammell; his children, Nola Raines (Austin), Latasha Chitwood and Ricky Chitwood; his grandson Justin Trammell; his siblings-in-law, Phronsie Wilson, Charlene Martin, Arlene Smith, Morris Stephens (Robin), Greg Stephens, Stacy Stephens and Maynard Stephens, Jr.; and his close friend Mark Kehn. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
