He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Sauls and Thelma Sauls (Cross); his wife Barbara Jo Sauls (Smith); his son Terry Scott; and his siblings, Roger, Don, Rosa Duncan and Chrystal Hicks.

He is survived by: his sisters, Shirley Crabtree and Beulah Griffith of Winfield. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
