We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2022, at the age of 65, Barbara Lynn Simmons of Woodbury, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Howard Gooch Sr. and Edna Pirkle Gooch; her husband Joe Simmons; and her siblings, Larry Douglas Gooch and Carolyn Marie Gooch.

She is survived by : her son Terent Chester of Woodbury; her grandson Cole Chester of Woodbury; her brother Billy Gooch (Lynda) of Mt. Airy, GA; her aunt Joyce Shollenberger of Woodbury; her nephews, Ryan Gooch of Georgia, William Gooch III of Georgia, Jeremy Gooch of Georgia and Alex Gooch (Nicole) of Georgia; and her great-niece Rawlins Gooch of Georgia.
