He is survived by: his wife Karen Blanks Cook; his stepchildren, Seth Powell (Krystal), Lydia Weber and Hannah Tucker (Devan); his sister Lou Goins (Darrell); his brothers-in-law, Mike Bennett and Clay Blanks; his grandchildren, McKenna Nieves (Joel), Rashon Nickson, Grayson Powell, Landen Powell, Nathan Powell, Claire Weber and Ariya Tucker; his great grandchild Houston; his nieces and nephews, Tabby Ragland (Kevin), Trina Jones (Bryan), Ray Bennett (Sara) and Michelle Potts (Joey); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Eli Ragland, Nolan Ragland, Dawson Reed, Jordan Reed, Wyatt Jones, Knox Bennett, Ashton Bennett and Sadie Potts.
