He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vernon "Bunt" Cooper and Carrie Bell Morris Cooper; his wife Bessie Darlene Sloan Cooper; and his siblings, Bob, Marvin Cooper, Susie Moulder, Faye Hollandsworth and Brenda Kay Cooper.
He is survived by: his daughter Barbara Wright (Jerry) of Murfreesboro; his granddaughter Autumn Rose Johnson White (Mason) of Murfreesboro; his siblings, Wallace Cooper (Estelle), Joy Dell Crocker, Ray Cooper (Tena), Ann Gaither (Steve) and Margie Gilley; and his great grandchild Camden John White.
