He was predeceased by: his parents, George L. Wells, Sr. and Edith Simmons Wells. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Bowman Wells; his children, Brian Wells (Char) of Woodbury, Melissa Wells of Iola, TX. and Tracey Wells of Decatur, IL.; his stepchildren, Rhonda Perry (Brian) of Christiana, Greg Campbell of Christiana and Jeff Campbell (Brandy) of Bradyville; his sisters, Carol Kretzschmar (Richard) of Galveston, TX., Darla Paschall (Les) of Magnolia, TX. and Treasia Runestrand (Scott) of Spring, TX.; and his grandchildren, Arjun Vashist, Noah Massey, Aaron, Nathaniel, Jefferson, Coleman Campbell, Trevor, Trent Perry, Ashley Wells, Faith Vashist, Georgia Wells and Elizabeth Barrett.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodbury Funeral Home to help his family with funeral expenses.
