He was predeceased by: his parents, Banford Smith and Tina Young Smith; his wife Lettie Olivene Smith; his grandson Bradley Gann; and his brothers, Loy and Ozle.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Kelley (David) of Woodbury, Darlene Smith of Woodbury, Diane Smith (Danny) of Centertown and Alice Menendez (Robert) of Soddy Daisy; and his grandchildren, Michael Gann, Joshua Self, Wendy Rogers, Adam Smith and Matt Smith.
