He is survived by: his wife Shirley Vanzant of Woodbury, TN; his children, Debbie Vaughn (Mike) of Woodbury, TN, Maryann Hobbs (Jimmy) of Palmetto, FL, Marcus Vanzant, Jr. (Jennell) of Bradenton, FL, Stephen Blaine Cox (Lori) of Knoxville, TN and Terri Jean Cox Schubel (John Saraniero) of Sarasota, FL; his sister Mary "Sheba" Long (Ed) of St. Augustine, FL; his brother-in-law Ken Marshall of The Villages, FL; and his grandchildren, Cody Hobbs, Garrett Hobbs, Zachary Vanzant, Tyler Vanzant, Michelle Vanzant, Angel Rodriguez, Kelby Cox and Cason Cox.
