He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Palmer Holt and Mildred Phillips Holt; and his nephew Jeremy Holt. He is survived by: his children, Richard Phillip Holt of Colorado, Stacey Holt of Manchester and Lynn Kelly (Justin) of Manchester; his brother Joel Holt of Nashville; his grandchildren, Mason Trae Roberts, Merrick Thomas Kelly, Justin Kelly, Jr. and Kaitlynn Floyd; and his sibling's children, Amy Lines, Marty Holt and Justin Holt.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gentry-Smith Funeral Home (303 Murfreesboro Rd, Woodbury, TN 37190). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Riverside Cemetery Association.
