Wanda Jewell Tarpley Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Jewell Tarpley in Woodbury, Tennessee, who passed away on August 10, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim B. Cummings and Clistie Wilcher Cummings; her husband Doyle Tarpley; and her siblings, Bill Perry Cummings, Kenneth Cummings, Raydean Cummings Vance, Irene Cummings Davenport and Jean Cummings Nichols.

She is survived by: her daughter Sandy; her son-in-law Mike Halliburton of Readyville; her granddaughters, Tonya Gannon (Jeff) of Woodbury and Kristy Halliburton (Gary Henderson) of Woodbury; her great grandchildren, Kelsey Hayes, Josie and Alex Gannon; and her great great grandchild Alison Roberts.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Smith Grove church of Christ, New Hope Building Fund or the Lincoln Blair Scholarship Fund.
