He was predeceased by : his brother Danny Schmittou. He is survived by : his wife Sheila French Schmittou; his children, Shannon Schmittou (Debra) and Rhonda Lafferty (Mike); his grandchildren, Monte Lafferty, Kyle Lafferty, Lindsay Lafferty, Hunter Schmittou (Abbey), Blake Schmittou, Chance Schmittou, Ali Demonbreun, Hadley Cherry (Austin), Caleb Morrow and Jacob Morrow; his great grandchildren, Brantly Schmittou, Cooper Schmittou and John Carson Demonbreun; and his siblings, Pete Schmittou, Donnie Schmittou, Tommy Schmittou, Barbara Ann Briggs and Janie Schroeder.
