He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Hodge and Marie Hodge; his former wife Alice Crain Hodge; his son Michael Ross; his siblings, Joy "Pig" Hodge, Kathy "Kat" Brown, Bill Hodge and Donald Hodge; and his nephew W. D. Patton.
He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Johnson of Buchanan, Tennessee; his daughter Lindsey Cobb (Nicholas) of Clarksburg, Tennessee; his siblings, Carolyn McGuire of Bruceton, Sharon Davidson (Lynn) of Nashville, Tennessee and Danny Hodge (Rhonda) of Yuma, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Brayden Cobb and Trae Cobb.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dilday-Carter Funeral Home (650 High St, Huntingdon, TN 38344). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Yuma Missionary Baptist Church (16210 TN-424, Yuma, TN 38390).
