She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Harshbarger and Gwendolen Harshbarger; and her brother Raymond Harshbarger. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Gillette; her son Trey Gillette (Anna); her grandsons, Eric Gillette (Abby), Jeff Gillette and Peter Gillette (Katey); her great grandchild Jackson; her sister Anita Harsbarger (Leroy); and her sister-in-law Judy Harshbarger.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Gillette Family Endowed Scholarship at McMurry University.
