He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur C. Sharp and Ellen Denton Sharp; his brother Jim Sharp; and his son Bruce Mac Sharp. He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth of Abilene; his children, Trendy (Larry Beam) of Duncan, OK, Mark (Lisa) of Southlake, TX and Susie (Mike Goff) of Grapevine, TX; his sisters, Jane Sharp and Barbara Gray-Williams of Granbury, TX; and his sisters-in-law, Nell Sharp of Santa Fe, TX and Martha Kay Welch of Crowell, TX. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
For several summers, A.C. was involved in conducting research for the National Science Foundation and worked at Iowa State University, the University of Texas, and NASA's Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA.
