She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Simmons and Willie Jerrine Simmons (Rogers); her husband Charles Preslar; her son Mike Preslar; her sisters, Nancy Riggins and Joy Frymire; her grandson Jay Freeman; and her great great grandchild Rowan Easley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Charlotte Palmer (Jerry) of Clyde and Peggy Preslar of Abilene; and her sister Marie Nabors of DeLeon. She is also survived by six grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
