It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara June Snelson of Abilene, Texas, who passed away on August 1, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Holacka and Julia Holacka; her husband James "Blackie" Snelson, Jr.; and her sisters, Margie Haberl, Dolores Tobola and Frances Holacka.
She is survived by: her children, James Snelson, III of Albuquerque, NM, Chuck Snelson (Virginia), Pam Wakham (Kyle) of Abilene and Kellie Merritt (Mike Arther) of Abilene. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
