Bob Rodgers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bob Rodgers of Abilene, Texas, who passed away on June 30, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Rodgers; his parents, H. W. Rodgers and Arlie Rodgers; and his siblings, Jerry Paul Rodgers, Joyce Drake and Karen Morgensen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Robinson (Brett Love) of Buffalo Gap and Angela Abbate (Greg Abbate) of Menomonee Falls, WI; his granddaughters, Adison Abbate of Indialantic, FL and Giana Abbate; his sisters, Joanne Burney of Snyder and Connie Cage of Allen, Texas; his siblings-in-law, Ricky Morgensen and Josephine Linville Ivey (Sarasota); and his significant other Carolyn Linville. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made in honor of Bob's brother, Jerry Paul Rodgers, who died on the USS Forrestal in 1967, to either Taylor County Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 36, or the Wounded Warrior Project.
