She was predeceased by: her parent W. I. Oates Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Cleve Lanier; her sons, David Lanier (Amanda) and Steve Lanier (Melissa); and her grandsons, Ian Lanier and Dustin Lanier. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
