With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carlos Reyes of Abilene, Texas, born in Eagle Pass, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 2, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Juan Reyes and San Juana Reyes; and his brother Juan Reyes. He is survived by : his wife Marilyn Reyes; his children, Andrew Reyes (Sabrina), Amy Pugh (Scott) and Annette Lerma (Luis); his siblings, Jesse Reyes, Cruz Reyes, Joe Reyes, Maria Brockman and Marina Trevino; and his grandsons, Philip Lerma, Ty Lerma, Matthew Moreno, Weston Lucus, Aaron Pugh, Daniel Pugh and Lucas Pugh. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home Chapel (5750 US-277, Abilene, TX 79606). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the University Church of Christ (733 E North 16th St, Abilene, TX 79601). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 at the Elmwood Memorial Park.
