She is survived by: her extended family, Edward and Martin; her husband Alejandro Ruelas, Sr.; her children, Sandra Ruelas and Alejandro Ruelas, Jr. (Nancy); her grandchildren, Alejandro Ruelas, III, Armando Ruelas, Andrew Ruelas, Nathan Ruelas (Crystal), Joshua Ruelas (Martha), Jason Ruelas (Shayla), Christopher Ruelas, Alyssa Ruelas, Zachary Gonzalez and Mark Gonzalez (Ashley); and her caregivers, Juanita Hernandez and Irene Medina. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family.
