He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Boland and Fred Boland; his brothers, Douglas Boland, Charlie Boland, Gary Boland and Johnny Boland; and his stepson Todd Edgar.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Boland; his son Greg Boland (Jennifer); his stepdaughter Staci Danford (Larry Motley); his grandchildren, Brent Bollinger (Deanna), Tanner McDonald (Jessika), Brooklyn Bollinger, Taylor Moore (Juliin) and Brady Todd Danford; and his brothers, Kennith Boland, Tony Boland and Denny Boland. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
