He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Benavidez (Charlie) and Teresa Escobedo; his grandchildren, Ilyana Vega (Luis), Matthew Benavidez, Deago Benavidez, Trinity Escobedo and Jude Escobedo; his sibling Eujenio Barron (Olga); and his siblings-in-law, Bernabe Castro, Epifanio Castro, Gabriel Castro, Sergio Castro, Thelma Gutierrez, Bertha Smith, Juanita Lester, Millie Escobedo, Grace Lopez, Santa Lander, Paula Montalvo, Dora Benavidez and Cecilia Calzada. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
