It is with sadness that the passing of Curtis Lynn Haveman of Abilene, Texas is shared. Curtis, born on May 28, 1947, passed away on October 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Jean Haveman (Mauer) and Clarence Haveman. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Carrell Haveman of Abilene; his daughters, Shannon Sutorus (Jeffrey) of Upper Marlboro and Audra Haveman Butler (Brad) of Abilene; his grandchildren, Benjamin and Olivia; his son Curt Haveman (Meghan) of College Station; his grandchildren, Maggie, Mallorie and Madelyn; and his brother Carl Haveman (Karen) of Canyon Lake, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Wylie Baptist Church of Abilene (6097 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79606).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Wylie Baptist Church in Abilene, TX or to The Wilderness Experience (https://thewildernessexp.org), a men's ministry in College Station, TX.
