She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Van Siclen and Lillian Hambleton; her husband Edgar Wright; her grandchildren, Christi Hollowell and Jay Bellar; and her sisters, Karen and Cheryl.

She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Chism, Sandy Hollowell (Robert), Carol Chastain (John) and Kathy Hampton (Lance); and her grandchildren, Lora Huerta (Chris), Allison Bellar (Chelsie), Jenifer Bellar, Jaron Bellar, Abigail Wood (Gaige), Aaron Chastain (Claire), Ryan Hampton (Ashleigh), Trey Hampton and Noah Hampton.

In accordance with Cynthia's wishes, the family requests that plants be given in lieu of flowers, honoring her enduring love for nature and life.
